Jubilee's one-of-a-kind indoor slab yard features more than 70 exotic varieties of granite,
marble and other natural stone countertops for homeowners in Plano, Texas.

Plano, Texas has been voted by several periodicals as one of the USA’s best cities to live in. Part of that is due to a thriving economy fueled by the many corporate headquarters that call Plano home. But here at Jubilee, we also like to think that we continue to play a small role in making Plano a wonderful place to live.

plano-city-festivalThe city was named for its flat topography—alas, there is nary a hill. But what Plano lacks in natural vistas it makes up for with the quality and beauty of its homes.

We like to think that the centerpiece of virtually any Plano home is a beautiful granite countertop, selected from an incredibly diverse array of beautiful and unique varieties of natural stone. Much of family life is centered around mealtimes — the traditional time when family members come together to reconnect, exchange stories and discuss plans or the latest news.

People feel more grounded in a home built with granite countertops because natural stone is a connection to Mother Earth. Over the years, we our expert installers have added a touch of enduring beauty to countless of homes in Plano. You would be hard-pressed to find a neighborhood without a home graced by the touch of Jubilee.

Enduring Beauty of Plano’s Legacy

Jubilee’s indoor showroom with more than 70 natural stone slabs on display is only minutes away from any home Plano. And unlike trips into Dallas, there’s no traffic jams blocking your way here.

Granite is a gift of the earth harvested with care. Yet its true inner beauty must be brought out with careful polish, edging and finish. The process begins with a visit to your Plano address where our installers take careful measurements. Each countertop is then machined to precise tolerances. It’s an commitment we feel duty-bound to uphold: an obligation not just to you, but to the earth, for there is no stone countertop that is not at least 250 million years old.

Select Your Granite Slab in Person

Texture and luminosity of crystalline granite is something that a photograph really cannot reproduce. Reproductions of photographic images are nearly always inaccurate in color and moreover, every piece of granite is unique. There are really no two pieces of stone exactly alike. Thus your granite slab is something any Plano resident should select in person — not from a photograph or tiny stone sample.

Largest Indoor Slab Yard for Plano Residents

Jubilee established one of the largest indoor granite slab yards of any area fabricator as a matter of practicality, knowing that selecting a natural stone countertop is best done in person by examining the actual slab of stone that will go into your home. Only in this way can you be sure that everything will be exactly as you want it to be.

Use of Granite in Plano

plano-city-parkAs Plano grew, philosophies evolved toward making homes more beautiful from the start. Most homes in Plano are quite detailed in their palette of colors and construction materials. In earlier generations, this was not the case. “Ranch style” home builders went with construction grade tile or Formica countertops and walls were simply painted white. Starting in the 1980s, boring building methods were replaced by an exciting new approach: why not incorporate a bit of luxury from the start? Two-car garages gave way to three as standard. Master baths got separate showers and jacuzzi tubs. Tile and formica countertops were replaced by granite.

The idea that people could afford a bit of luxury was appealing—and popular. By 1980, Plano had expanded from 18,000 persons in 1970 to 72,000. Twenty years later it was 222,000. Today Plano is the 9th most populated city in Texas.

Centerpiece of Plano Homes

Today, every Plano home provided with granite countertops has been blessed with something wonderful that is in fact millions of years old. The stone slabs on display in Jubilee’s showroom hail from rock deposits from all parts of the Earth — as close as Texas, and as far away as Italy, Spain, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Israel, Greece, India, Mexico, Germany, Taiwan and Turkey. The sheer number of available varieties is staggering when you see it in person. Granite is amazing for its resistance to stains and scratches. But not every one chooses granite.

Most Plano neighborhoods are sprinkled with homes featuring other varieties of natural stone such as marble, travertine, limestone, soapstone, sandstone and slate. Jubilee showcases all these stone flavors and many more, all in our massive indoor showroom, just minutes away from wherever you are in Plano. Of course we also provide a wide selection of engineered quartz and marble which are a durable combination of natural stone and resin.

Jubilee’s granite countertops are a legacy of the earth bringing into each home the timeless wonder of nature. A small contribution perhaps in the grand scheme of things, but by upgrading the quality of family life, we are collectively helping to make Plano an even more wonderful place to live.
